Spanish for Lawyers
Spanish for Lawyers is a course that will enhance communication skills with Spanish-speaking clients. Breaking language and culture barriers by learning the basic vocabulary and terminology will create trust and reliance in Spanish speaking clients. It will provide basic conversational skills necessary to build a positive rapport, essential in the Hispanic culture.
Students develop and enhance skills in the areas of:
- Asking specific questions about a case
- Explaining case scenarios
- Learning specific legal terms
- Discussing immigration, criminal law, bankruptcy vocabulary
- Learning rapport building phrases.
